Call the Expert

As a homeowner, I have learned that there are some tasks that require the expertise of professionals. One such task is staining a fence. I learned this lesson the hard way when I attempted to stain my fence without consulting an expert.

I took to social media to ask for advice and received a response from a well-meaning individual who recommended a premium Behr product. I thought this sounded reasonable, so I headed to Home Depot to purchase the stain. The store employees were friendly and tried to be helpful, but they didn't have the expertise needed to advise me on the best way to stain my fence.

While it may cost more upfront, it can save you time, money, and frustration in the long run. Relying solely on advice from non-professional sources can lead to mistakes and costly repairs.
